Hello hello!
This is Beau Geste and everything Abundant Living. My mantra in life will always be: "If your dreams do not scare you, they are not big enough!" My first official blog launch. Being a multi-passionate individual, I would like to indulge in all that life has to offer, including all things lifestyle, motivation, business, people, faith, dance and communication. This being said, I am Cilmarie Geyer, most of you know me as Cilmie. I am originally from Limpopo, but currently living and loving the Western Cape, Paarl! I am envisioning to start my own business one day, being a qualified Somatologist from Isa Carstens Academy, Stellenbosch, at the end of 2021.
Life consists of curve-balls. But with the necessary adaptations one can easily change them into challenges, that will grow into opportunities over the course of time. "Keep at your game", as Marie Forleo loves to say, "because the world needs that special gift that only you can give." Have you ever done something truly challenging? Achievement, is often seen as an overnight success or someone that "just got lucky." But the matter of the fact is, that one's daily choices and activities determines your futuristic destiny.
The word 'constantly' refers to never ending, something done almost out of habit. Gaining growth, progress and ultimately success, is in need of your consistent efforts. This refers to all aspects of life, from a specific job you want, a qualification, spiritual or physical growth, or a relationship. If you are constantly prioritizing these things in your everyday life with weekly/ daily goals, it will subsequently get you to the end goal. Yes, everything does not always go as planned, but that is why we should always remember what our Father promises in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. Submit all your plans to Him, and He will make all your paths straight."
Consistency is not only focusing on the outcome, but on the daily progress. Little by little is how you will get the job done my friend! As Tony Robbins (author, businessman and speaker) loves to say: "Success without fulfillment, is the greatest failure of all." Because, happiness comes from progress, not perfection. Love what you do, and how you approach things in love. Life is full of beautiful activities, people and experiences, but it is up to you to see and indulge in them. Life gets tough, challenges can develop into failures, but constantly standing up and brushing off the dust to start a new plan of action, is what builds a disciplined character, set-up to succeed emotionally as well in the long term.
Constantly staying involved with your family and friends takes intentional living. Do not let times of community slip you by. Spending time in a relationship, will always be beneficial, not only are you maybe building a future, but also learning more about yourself, life and perceptions. You might constantly feel overwhelmed...remember, consistency is not always based on your level of motivation, as Pastor DawnChere Wilkerson loves to say: "Celebration is a discipline, an active, daily choice."
Remember: These are only my opinions (disclaimer), if you do not agree and if I am not your cup of tea, share it with a friend, because I might just be that needed cup of inspirational coffee to someone else!
Lots of Love
Cilmie
